After college she moved to Pennsylvania and eventually became Mrs. Pennsylvania 2000 while using the platform to promote the Maternal and Child Health Consortium. Jackie spent the year speaking at various events around the state about the importance of educating the public on programs and opportunities to build strong foundations for the health and wellbeing of children. After moving back to her home state, she began her family and her work with Clear Channel Communications. There she was featured on a popular morning show as “the Original Jackie” and worked as an Advertising & Sales executive before heading to the classroom to share her love of history. after meeting the love of her life, Todd, they began a brand new, blended family adventure and welcomed their youngest son together in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. She was the proud owner of a retail boutique, Too Belles, that closed in 2020 after Jackie was diagnosed with breast cancer. When one door closes, another one opens and she uncovered a renewed love for fitness. After experiencing the scary words “you have cancer” firsthand, she knew she wanted to live her healthiest and most strong life.
